Dine and Discover Series Continues Nov. 16

VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University Campus Wellness will present Dine and Discover: Falls and Prevention from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, in Student Union Meeting Room 1A and B. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
 
Dr. Jason Anderson, occupational therapist, and Dewey Patterson, certified occupational therapy assistant, both with South Georgia Medical Center’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, will discuss falls in the aging population, the impact of falls, fall prevention, and more.
 
Dine and Discover is a monthly educational series sponsored by South Georgia Medical Center. VSU Campus Wellness works alongside SGMC to promote and encourage an increased awareness and practice of a healthy lifestyle.
