Welcome Parents & Families

The VSU Parent & Family Programs serve as a partner to assist parents and guardians by providing information and resources for the VSU campus.

Although your student has left home for college, they still need your advice, counsel, encouragement and wisdom.  Please use this Resource Center as a reference if your student calls you with a concern or issue they do not know how to answer. The faculty, staff, and administration are here to assist students and parents.  Please encourage your student to ask questions and take responsibility for their college career.

If you need assistance beyond Resource Center information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Office at (229) 333-5941.  If we don’t know the answer, we will put you in contact with the department that can help.  It our desire that your student has a very rewarding and successful college career.  We are a student-centered university ready to assist you in any way possible.
