Main University Website

The main university website is Valdosta State University's home on the web. The website currently houses more that 40,000 pages and almost 400 content editors around the university. A variety of information pertaining to both external and internal parties can be found on this property including the Campus Directory, Campus Virtual Tour/Map, Programs and Degrees Search, and the Campus Calendar. MyVSU Portal

The MyVSU Portal is an area where applicants, students, faculty, and staff can access information pertaining to the campus and more. This portal also provides single sign on access to many other portals around campus.

University Content Management System

The main university content management system is a Hannon Hill Product called Cascade Server which is hosted here on campus and is used the maintain most of the content of the main university website along with several other properties.

University WordPress Sites

The university WordPress environment is available for any faculty member, staff member, or organization that is affiliated with Valdosta State University. This environment makes content management easy with a very short learning curve. Check out our Web Services Blog for updates on new features and department news.

MyPages Environment

The university MyPages environment is available for any faculty member, staff member, or student with a valid valdosta.edu email address and provides an area where HTML, CSS, javascript, and PHP can be used to create a personal website.

Portal Theming

Web Services provides assistance with portal theming to help departments with third party portals reflect the VSU brand.
