About us:
The Valdosta State University Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency dedicated to the safety and security of our campus and the surrounding community.
Our mission is to ensure a safe and secure campus environment where diverse social, cultural, and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper through a combination of reactive, proactive, and educational law enforcement services.
Whether you're a student, employee, visitor, or Blazer fan, we want to provide you with peace of mind so you can focus on living, learning, and working here with confidence.
Our department employs state certified police officers to patrol the campus, conduct criminal investigations, and provide crime prevention programs. Our officers are working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even during holidays and school breaks. Our goal is to maintain a supportive, educationally-driven approach to justice, fostering a cooperative relationship with the campus community.

Our office is located at the southeast corner of the Oak Street Parking Deck at 1410 N. Oak Street, directly across the street from the Fine Arts building.
