Hello Blazer!

Between Move-In, SPARK activities, and Advising, we have all been busy. I hope everyone has settled in well and that your semester is off to a good start!

The Advising Team has completed two weeks of walk-ins and will start their normal appointment schedule next week, August 25, 2025. You can make an appointment via the Slate Advising Portal.

If you were assigned to Erica Almond and Ashton Young as your advisors, they have accepted a professional role elsewhere, and we wish them well. Rest assured, we still have other advisors assisting in their stead until new advisors are in place. If you need assistance, email the advising alias, advising@valdosta.edu, and someone will send you a snippet via email to make an appointment with another advisor.
