UGA Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University

The UGA SBDC at Valdosta State University is one of 18 SBDC area offices in Georgia, providing expert business and economic development assistance to entrepreneurs in Atkinson, Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Echols, Lanier, Lowndes, and Thomas counties. As part of VSU’s Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration, our center combines practical experience with advanced education to support the growth of South Georgia’s small businesses.

Each year, our consultants across the state assist over 5,000 clients with topics like business planning, securing funding, QuickBooks, and marketing. We also provide continuing education to more than 10,000 individuals through workshops on starting a business, taxes, and more.

We look forward to helping your business grow and succeed in South Georgia.
