The hands-on approach

The Honors House
The Honors House is a place for students to study, collaborate, socialize, and engage with the honors community at VSU. Once the home of Valdosta State presidents, the house is a refuge for engaged and motivated scholars.
Reade Hall Residential Community
Honors College students have the opportunity to live in a primarily-honors residence hall, where you can live and learn together with your closest classmates and enjoy honors-focused programming and activities.
The Honors Student Association
HSA is dedicated to serving the community, VSU, and its members through a wide variety of activities that are both fun and education, ranging from conferences across the United States to cleaning up local parks or teaching young children for a day.

Explore a new culture.

The VSU Center for International Programs offers many inexpensive and hassle-free opportunities for students to travel and study overseas. You may want to spend a summer abroad on a VSU or University System of Georgia program or participate in our semester or year-long exchange programs.
