Council on Staff Affairs (COSA) is a recommending body to the university's President as part of our shared governance model at VSU. The Council recommends improvements of policies and procedures related to the general welfare of all concerned within the University community. COSA is comprised of classified-staff employees, representing every division, and two “at large” members. We are focused on issues of importance to classified staff members and the entire university community.

USG Staff Council Conference 2025

Valdosta State University will host the annual Univeresity System of Georgia Staff Council Conference in 2025. All staff employees of the University System of Georgia are welcome to attend the annual statewide conference. Information is forthcoming.
