Returning Student Selection 2024

We are excited to let you know that housing selection is currently underway! Housing selection is the period in which we have applications and then self-selections for where you’re going to live for the 2024-2025 academic year. One of our newest benefits for continuing to live on campus as an upperclassman is that we now offer single-space units in Lowndes Hall. The second floor of Lowndes Hall will be a co-ed floor with only one person per room. To select this type of space you cannot be a part of a roommate group and will need to select on either priority selection day or the individual's selection day. 

  • Applications go live January 12th and remain open until March 1st
  • Renewals/Reclaims – February 5th – 9th*
    • Centennial East will now be only for those with a Type 1 (10 month) contract.
    • Centennial West will now be only for those with a Type 2 (12 month) contract.

      • If you currently hold a Type 1 Contract (10 Month): 

        • You are eligible to apply for a reclaim – Reclaims mean that you will move out at the end of the Spring semester and move back in at the beginning of the Fall semester. 

          • Currently living in Centennial East: You may apply for a reclaim for your current space. 

          • Currently living in Centennial West: You may apply for a reclaim, however, you will need to apply for a Type 2 Contract (12 month). This means you would be living in your current space in Fall ‘24, Spring ‘25, and Summer ‘25. If you do not want to reclaim or do not want to be in a Type 2 contract, you will need to go through the selection process from March 4th – 8th to select a new space. 

        If you currently hold a Type 2 Contract (12 Month): 

        You are eligible to apply for a renewal only if you currently live in Centennial West. For those currently living in Centennial East who would like to be in a Type 2 contract for 2024-2025, you will need to go through the selection process from March 4th – 8th to select a new space. 

  • Themed Communitites – Februrary 12th – 16th*
    • If you’ve selected to be in a theme community, you will select into your space amongst where your theme community is located.
  • General Selection – March 4th – 8th*
    • This is for anyone who is not reclaiming, renewing, or going into a themed community.

March 5th - Centennial Groups 9:00AM - 2:00PM

March 5th - Centennial Individuals 2:30PM - end of day

March 6th - Georgia/Hopper Groups 9:00AM - 2:00PM

March 6th - Georgia/Hopper Individuals 2:30PM - end of day

March 7th - Only Individuals 

March 8th - Open Call

*Please note it is when you actually self-select or are assigned that you are locked into your contract.

We will be having a few events and competitions for you to compete to win priority housing which will be on March 4th. Get ready to Liven’ Up the Beat by Livin’ the Blazer Life again!
