Learning in Retirement

Registration for LIR's Fall 2026 semester is now open.

Read the class descriptions and REGISTER. 

The LIR Fall 2026 Catalog will be available soon as a printable online pdf. We will update this webpage as soon as the printed catalogs are ready.

Catalogs can be requested until they run out by emailing terrycenter@valdosta.edu or call us at 229.253.2985. We recommend accessing the online pdf whenever possible as it will be available to everyone 24/7.

In addition to online registration with debit/credit card, we take registrations by phone at 229-253-2985 and in person. Our temporary office is located in the VSU University Center, 1215 N Patterson Street, Room 3103 (right next to Drexel Park, corner of Brookwood and Patterson). You are also welcome to drop by our office to pay with cash, check or debit/credit card.
