Megan Hancock
Associate Director
- M.Ed. Higher Education Administration
Georgia Southern University - B.A. Sociology and Anthropology
Valdosta State University
Year I started at VSU: 2016
Why I love my job: I get the chance to work with students who are ready to get a head start on their college courses. I am able to help dual enrollment students create a personalized academic plan that will help them towards their future goals.
Hometown: Peachtree City, GA
Hobbies/Interests: I love attending Spin classes at the local gym, baking, Spartan races, and spending time with family and friends.
Fun Fact: I played the trumpet for 8+ years.
Why I Love VSU: When I stepped onto campus, I fell in love! The unique classroom sizes enhanced my learning experience and took it to the next level! The small class sizes give you a hands-on learning experience both inside and outside of the classroom. My wish for current and future Blazers is that you would get involved in something you love and excel in the classroom. I have no doubt you will do all of that and more here at Valdosta State.
