Valdosta State University has launched a new internship program for students that will create a more well-rounded and employable graduate! The Regional Impact Internship program is taking applications now for the inaugural cohort in Fall 2022.  The program is open to all VSU students who will have completed at least 60 hours at the end of Spring 2022.

Wouldn’t you want to know some of our region’s leaders when you are doing your first job search? VSU’s new program will allow you to network and so much more.

During the Regional Impact Internship, you will also get to work in cross-departmental teams with students from other majors. You will work together to complete a project that helps businesses and communities in our state continue to grow and thrive through VSU’s Center for South Georgia Regional Impact.

These are projects that you can include as experience on your resume. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with community and government leaders, faculty, and network with potential employers. VSU’s new Regional Impact Internship program, will set you apart as a VSU graduate to potential employers! 

As part of this program, there will be networking opportunities with our regional business and government leaders.

You also have the opportunity to earn VSU Internship Credit (if your academic program allows) or volunteer service hours for your participation.
