Transient Students
Valdosta State University accepts applications on a rolling admissions basis. Upon receipt of all required documents, the student is most often notified of an admissions decision within 7-10 business days.
Transient admissions is defined as admission for a limited period of time of students who are regularly enrolled in another institution and who ordinarily expect to return to that institution. To be considered for transient admission to Valdosta State University, a student must be regularly enrolled in an accredited or approved institution and must have an academic record of satisfactory or superior quality.
Transient Students Admission Requirements
- Application and $40 fee
- Transient letter of permission from home institution.
- Certification of Immunization (students doing study abroad are exempt).
Please note: Transient students are registered for classes based on availability. Valdosta State does not guarantee that transient students will be placed in classes.
