Tropical Depression Barry Advisory

Valdosta State University is monitoring Tropical Depression Barry's movement north along the Florida west coast. The storm is forecast to be located just south of Valdosta this afternoon. Rain is forecast for the Valdosta area.

University operations at VSU are continuing as normal. Members of the VSU community and visitors to the campus are encouraged to keep informed about the projected path of the storm. Students traveling over the weekend should monitor weather developments and take caution when traveling on highways.
