Welcome to the VSU Dual Enrollment Program

Dual Enrollment Counselors

We are excited to welcome you and your students to the Valdosta State University Dual Enrollment Program! Our goal is to make sure you receive the information that you need, and to answer any questions you may have about the Dual Enrollment Program.

Unlike other Dual Enrollment programs, high school and home school students in VSU’s Dual Enrollment Program benefit from the resources of a major state university, where they can easily transition into a bachelor’s degree program after graduation. The rigor and pace of our classes will prepare your students for success anywhere.

What classes/ courses are available for Dual Enrollment Students?

Approved courses for Dual Enrollment funding are listed in the Dual Enrollment Approved Course Directory. Approved classes may include degree level or non-degree level courses in the five main academic areas (English, math, science, social studies and foreign language), as well as select elective course offerings. Students can enroll in online courses if the course is on the approved course list. Students should carefully consider whether an online course is a good fit for them before enrolling. The dual enrollment requirements are the same for online courses as face-to-face courses.
