Community Engagement

Community engagement involves the intentional interactions between the Valdosta and surrounding communities with the College of Science and Mathematics (COSM) at Valdosta State university. COSM places emphasis on interacting with several stakeholders such as elementary, middle and high schools’ students through our Science Saturday and camp activities. We also interact with several industries and businesses through our COSM initiatives for Community Engagement Through Applied Research(iCETAR). The iCETAR leverages its interaction with many south Georgia counties through collaboration with the South Georgia Regional Impact (SGRI).
